The full age of retirement is usually better, ages 66 and 67. When it comes to retiring, you can think of relaxing and vacationing, living somewhere where you can enjoy your quiet days and have fun in the sun; what better place than Naples, Florida. When you decide to retire somewhere, it is best to see if the city is up to your standards. Most of the time, a retiree wants a calm and safe place to call their home. Here in Naples, you can choose many safe communities that come with a beautiful, peaceful backyard or acres. Naples is also one of the safest places to live in Florida, with a very low crime rate, so there is no reason to worry about you or your family’s safety. “Naples crime rates are lower than 60 % of Florida communities.” Over the few years, Naples has been expanding, many people from around the world and the United States come down here to enjoy a pleasant life; that doesn’t mean it’s quiet all the time. Naples now has a lot of construction going on, expanding resources for everyone but it is still calming. Just imagine yourself sitting outside your porch on a summer afternoon, feeling the wind blow as you look out the horizon and see a beautiful sunset, the beauty of Naples.

2. The Weather Is Always Mostly Nice

People always come to Florida for the vacation weather, well in Naples, the weather is always in vacation mode. The weather in Naples is usually an average of 77 degrees Fahrenheit, which is great if you want to live somewhere that feels nice. Naples warmest climates are in July and June, during summertime. Perfect weather to enjoy with your family strolling around the neighborhood or laying poolside. I asked some fellow retirees around the area, what’s their favorite part about living in Naples, said and I quote, “Well, the weather is always nice out, no need to worry about a snowstorm or cold weather.” If you are tired of the cold, chilly weather up north, come down to Naples, Florida, and soak in the sun and have fun.

3. Outdoor Activities All Year Long

In a warm-weather city like Naples, theirs always fun activities to do outside with friends and families. You can enjoy a wonderful afternoon playing golf or canoeing with your kids when they come down to visit. If you want to go fishing, you can rent a boat or buy on and go fishing. “Naples has some of the best waterfronts in the world.” who doesn’t enjoy fresh seafood. Many people in Naples enjoy eating seafood, some on a daily basis; down here, we have a lot of places to fish from and fish markets. Retirees can also enjoy tennis matches with their dear friends and see whose the best play, feeling young and happy.

4. Many Beaches To Visit And Explore

Naples, Florida, is surrounded by water, so it’s safe to say there are many beaches to choose from, one of Naples’s best attractions. Coming at the top, we have Naples pier; everyone is here because it’s beautiful, has nearby restaurants you can dine in, good for strolling, collecting shells, and so much more, plus you can catch a beautiful sunset in the evenings. The second top beach in Naples is Lowdermilk Beach, great for many water sport activities; if you want to rent paddleboards and go out on the beach, this is the one for you. Overall, Naples is filled with many wonderful beaches that are welcome to anyone. It’s safe to say that Naples, Florida is one of the most areas where people settle down and retire. If your thinking about moving here, you should! One of the many things I love about 5th Avenue during Christmas, when the stores are light up, everyone is happy shopping for their loved ones, smiles on every friendly face when they light up the trees. Overall, Naples, Florida, is a beautiful city that has many things to do and see. Retiring here would mean a forever vacation which you rightfully deserve. Living the golden life and enjoy the time with your loved one or even just yourself. I couldn’t think of any other place I would rather live at than Naples.
